Downcast

The use of black ink to display the motion of the human form was an exciting experiment I explored. The monochrome figure, challenges the perception of the viewer but also creates fascinating marks as produced by the ink.

A spiritual energy is suggested by the abstract marks departing from the figures shoulders, alongside the blotted water marks creating a semi-present energy.
