I’m Ellen, and I am a contemporary fine artist, specialising in figurative art. From West Sussex, United Kingdom, and have exhibited in London and Paris.
My work is deeply influenced by my own experiences and the inspiration of artists such as, Alex Kanevsky, Ed Hallam, Pascal Vilcollet and Jenny Saville and Iryna Yermolova. I aim to capture the essence of the human condition, exploring themes of movement, emotion, and the inner-self through my art. Each piece I create is a reflection of my own perspective of the physical movement of the human form and its flow, manipulated by the internal state of the being, as well as an invitation for viewers to engage with their own thoughts and feelings.
While I primarily work in painting and drawing, I enjoy experimenting with different materials and methods to create unique textures and effects, approaching each new project with a sense of excitement and curiosity.
Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to create work that impacts people on a visceral level, inspiring them to think, feel, and connect with themselves introspectively, influencing the way they observe the world around them in new and meaningful ways.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me and my work!
